Bio
Ariana Garfinkel is a Producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and founder of Carriage House Pictures. She has served as lead Producer on six completed feature documentaries which have received top festival premieres, multiple awards, and wide distribution. Her past projects include: ON THESE GROUNDS (SXSW, Starz, Peacock), NEVER TOO LATE: THE DOC SEVERINSEN STORY (PBS American Masters), YOU DON'T NOMI (Tribeca, AMC+), I AM MARIS (Netflix), BEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS (SXSW, PBS Independent Lens) and BOYS OF SUMMER (ESPN, PBS AfroPoP). Other credits include Associate Producer, Consulting Producer, and Archival Producer on numerous documentaries, as well as producing two narrative short films. Ariana held development and production executive positions at Miramax Films, Tribeca Productions, Reno Productions, and Bright Productions. She serves on juries and selection committees for the International Documentary Association Awards and Jewish Film Institute filmmaker programs. Ariana was a resident at SFFILM's Filmhouse and is a member of the Documentary Producers Alliance. She began her career on location for HBO Films and Columbia Pictures after graduating from Stanford University.
