Elizabeth Unger (Director/Producer) is a National Geographic Explorer who has worked and traveled across all seven continents. She’s a two-time Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee and was selected in 2022 for DOC NYC’s 40 Under 40 list. Her award-winning film exposé on jaguar trafficking, TIGRE GENTE, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was broadcast by National Geographic LATAM in 2023. Elizabeth later served as a Unit Director on HEART OF INVICTUS, a Netflix docuseries Executive Produced by Prince Harry. She is currently producing an investigative documentary with the Blackfeet Tribe in Montana that exposes the dark legacy of Native American boarding schools in the United States.
